Why do we Mimic? How many times a day do we repeat an action or thought we saw someone else do?
The word meme itself is a neologism coined by Richard Dawkins, originating from his 1976 book The Selfish Gene. Dawkins’s own position is somewhat ambiguous. He welcomed N. K. Humphrey‘s suggestion that “memes should be considered as living structures, not just metaphorically”
The word meme, is related to Mnemonics or the goddess Mnemosyne/Pnemosyne.
Today’s accepted meaning is “an idea, behavior, or style that spreads by means of imitation from person to person within a culture and often carries symbolic meaning representing a particular phenomenon or theme.”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meme Today we have many content/meme providers to shape our world view and self view – if we allow it.
Memes are responsible for almost all the good and all the bad. We learn and evolve from each other. Memes are explained to us as a reminder of what can happen if we allow one Man to apply his will over another.
For centuries now, since the Greeks and Late Egyptians, man has used deductive reasoning to resolve the actions of one man’s will over another.
If we list all the memes we will miss the only important one.
Meme by circumstance spells the phrase, ME! ME!. The word was created during our era. It is short for Mnemosyne or mnemonics.
The one meme that has been accepted and leading to our problems is “One Man’s will over Another” or Man’s will over Source Creator of All.
The most important meme is this one above. All the other memes after that one uphold and reinforce the previous ones.
The new meme shall be that we will replace disregard of others and ourselves with regard for others and ourselves.
Instant repair, fearlessness and peace.
